If I’m writing about it, I am doing something about it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I cannot singlehandedly change things and you shouldn’t expect me to. Black women can’t fix everything.

Also, I’m an instructor. One of the best things I can do is to teach others to be aware of their biases in creative fields.

You may not agree and that’s your choice. If I struck a nerve with you, then that was the point.
